Maine Caucus Speech

Our country has overcome great challenges in becoming what it is today. We have spent billions of dollars overseas in order to protect our country. If we are so willing to protect our country in a global spectrum, why don’t we defend our country on the home front? When I become president, I will work to protect our country from the inside out. At this time there are currently at least 12 million illegal aliens living in our country. I am absolutely opposed to amnesty. The only realistic solution to the problem of immigration is a strategy of attrition. This would reduce the flow of illegal alien population over time by cutting off the incentives for coming and staying in America. This will be accomplished by elimination the job magnet. As President, I will secure our boarders so illegal aliens do not come, and I will eliminate benefits and job prospects so they will not stay. I am strongly opposed to gay marriage. I support a constitutional amendment defining marriage as between one man and one woman. Society supports traditional marriage because it is the only union which, in ordinary course, leads to children, without intervention of a third party. Society needs a young generation to defend our countries cultures and traditions. We need to join together and end gay marriage in the United States. I am a strong believer in the right to life of an unborn child. As president, I will work to reduce the abortion rate in the United States. Abortions should not be used as a last form of birth control. Access to abortions should be limited. I feel abortions should only be given when the mother’s life is in danger. As President, I would be an advocate for America’s unborn children. It is time for us to turn this country around. It’s our job to protect our country on the home front. Vote Tom Tancredo! End illegal immigration! It’s your country, Take it back!
